Iron Man (Classic) Gallery Diorama

After being wounded by shrapnel from weapons he designed and his company manufactured, millionaire inventor Tony Stark was taken prisoner and forced to build more weapons. Instead, he built a suit of armor that kept the shrapnel from moving and turned him into a walking tank, escaping his captors. Swearing that his company would never make weapons again, Tony painted his armor gold and became a superhero, helping others anonymously while trying to change the world through his business. Joining up with like-minded heroes, he co-founded the Avengers, and has been a core member through most of the team’s existence.
