The LANCOM GS-2310 is equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 combo ports (Ethernet or fiber optic). With a data throughput of 20 Gbit/s on the backplane, it offers full performance even under high loads. The switch thus forms the powerful basis for modern network infrastructures in small and home offices.

Software-defined LAN
The LANCOM Management Cloud opens the way to the most modern switch management: Software-defined LAN (SD-LAN). SD-LAN orchestrates the port profiles of all switches and automatically assigns the necessary network configuration, such as VLANs. In this way, all switch configurations are coordinated across locations and taking the network architecture into account and at the same time rolled out or updated with a mouse click.

Configurable access control
The LANCOM GS-2310 ensures that no external clients gain unauthorized access to the network. This is made possible by secure access control on all ports according to IEEE 802.1X (port-based, single, multi and MAC-based).

Secure remote management
Thanks to secure communication protocols such as SSH, SSL and SNMPv3, the LANCOM GS-2310 enables professional remote management of the network. In addition, the switch supports the TACACS+ protocol for authentication, authorization and accounting. An optimal solution that promises maximum security, especially when managing and monitoring cross-location networks.

IPv6 and IPv4 support
Thanks to its dual stack implementation, the LANCOM GS-2310 can be used in pure IPv4, pure IPv6 or mixed networks. This means it can be administered via both IP address standards and therefore represents full future security.
