MEHTERAN AURIGA 18" CRASH

Auriga is a new series of cymbals by the Turkish company Mehteran, and along with it there are also a couple of new series, Mehteran currently has 26 series ranging from dark and dry sound to cymbals with a bright character and long sustain. Auriga is a cymbal that is handmade from B20 alloy with fine hammering and traditional finish and would be similar to the Jazz and Lotus series, but it is decorated with numerous cut holes with a diameter of 16 mm, and unlike standard thrash crashes with fewer larger holes that sound like a hybrid of china and crash cymbals, this cymbal still gives a noticeably more subtle dirtiness in the sound and still sounds much more like a crash cymbal than a china, and is suitable for anyone who would like such a slight admixture of thrash sound in their crash cymbal.
