ASUS ROG Strix GS-BE7200: an efficient dual-band Wi-Fi 7 gaming router in a white housing, designed for fast home networks, gaming stations and extensive installations with many devices. Total theoretical wireless throughput is up to 7,140 Mbps - up to 5,764 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 1,376 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.
Multi-Link Operation technology allows compatible Wi-Fi 7 devices to combine the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands or dynamically switch between them. Channels up to 160 MHz wide and 4096-QAM modulation help increase throughput, reduce latency and improve connection stability when gaming, streaming and transferring large files.
Advanced 5x5 configuration in the 5 GHz band increases transmission capabilities and network range. The router uses six internal antennas, a quad-core 2.0 GHz processor and 1 GB of DDR4 RAM, which allows you to efficiently support multiple devices, security functions, AiMesh system and VPN connections.
All Ethernet ports offer a speed of 2.5 Gb/s. There is one 2.5GbE WAN port and four 2.5GbE LAN ports, two of which function as dedicated gaming ports. Devices connected to them can automatically receive higher priority for network traffic.
Gaming features include Game Boost, Gaming Network, Mobile Game Mode, Gear Accelerator, ROG First and OpenNAT. They allow you to prioritize gaming traffic, reduce latency and simplify the configuration of connections required by popular network titles.
ASUS AiMesh allows you to connect the router to other compatible ASUS devices and create one extensive wireless network. GS-BE7200 can act as a main router, access point, repeater, multimedia bridge or AiMesh node.
ASUS AiProtection system helps block malicious websites, ads and trackers. The router also supports parental controls, guest networks, DNS over TLS, firewall, and VPN servers and clients using WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPSec, PPTP, and L2TP, among others. Configurable ROG Aura RGB lighting allows you to match the appearance of the device to your gaming station.
