ASUS RT-BE59 BE5000: an efficient dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router designed for a fast home network, office and extensive smart home installations. The total wireless throughput is up to approximately 5,000 Mbps - up to 4,320 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 688 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band.
Multi-Link Operation technology allows compatible Wi-Fi 7 devices to simultaneously use or efficiently switch between the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. This allows you to reduce delays, improve connection stability and use the available bandwidth more efficiently. Support for channels up to 160 MHz and 4096-QAM modulation increases performance when streaming video, online gaming, working with the cloud and transferring large files.
A quad-core 2.0 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM provide adequate power to support multiple devices, security functions, VPN connections and a mesh system. The router uses four external antennas and one internal antenna, and the 3×3 configuration in the 5 GHz band and 2×2 configuration in the 2.4 GHz band improves the performance and range of the wireless network.
The 2.5 Gb/s WAN port allows you to use a high-speed Internet connection, while a separate 2.5 Gb/s LAN port allows you to connect a computer, NAS server or network switch. There are also three Gigabit LAN ports for wired devices.
ASUS AiMesh technology allows you to connect the router with other compatible ASUS devices and create a unified network covering a larger home or office. RT-BE59 can act as the main AiMesh router or as an additional node in a mesh system.
The Smart Home Master function makes it easy to create separate networks for IoT devices, children and devices using a VPN connection. AiProtection, security scanning, malicious website blocking and WPA3 support help protect network-connected devices. Parental Control allows you to schedule Internet access and filter inappropriate content.
The router supports VPN servers and clients using, among others, WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPSec, PPTP and L2TP. Configuration and management are carried out via the ASUSWRT panel in the browser or the ASUS Router mobile application.
