The Beurer Maremed salt evaporator is an innovative, globally patented development. In combination with the special sea salt produced exclusively for Beurer, it creates a naturally occurring marine climate for the natural humidification of the respiratory tract – a seaside spa treatment at home. The Maremed combines the benefits of an air purifier and a humidifier. It filters up to 70% of dirt particles, pollen, fine dust/house dust, and pet hair from the air. Additionally, a UVC lamp eliminates most germs and viruses from the water. An ionization comb provides further ionization and purification before the mineralized air is released back into the room. It is absorbed through the respiratory system and can thus exert its beneficial effects on the body. This simulates the biodynamics of the sea coast. The Maremed is suitable for rooms up to 50 m2 and features modern sensor button controls, three humidification levels, a timer, and a night mode with noise reduction and display dimming.
