The Genesis XP 7680g from Honeywell is a solid solution for workplaces where reliable 1D and 2D barcode scanning is required. This presentation scanner also recognizes poorly printed or damaged barcodes and supports scanning of digital barcodes and Digimarc. This makes it a reliable tool in workplaces with high scanning volumes, such as in retail. Its housing is protected to IP52 and can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 meters. The Genesis XP 7680g works with automatic object recognition: the lighting is switched off completely when no scans are being carried out.
