The Inter-Tech 4U-465M2 is a 4U rackmount server chassis for professional server, storage and virtualization applications. A special feature of the case is the ability to operate two independent Mini-ITX systems in a single 19-inch case. This makes it suitable, for example, for redundant servers, cluster solutions or energy-efficient dual server configurations. Each of the two systems has its own front connection, each with two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and can be operated with a separate ATX power supply. A total of up to six internal 3.5-inch drive slots are available for data storage, making the case also suitable for NAS or backup servers. The cooling system consists of three centrally located 120 mm fans that ensure airflow throughout the entire case. In addition, each motherboard has two 40 mm fans on the back, so that both systems are cooled independently and reliably. CPU coolers can be up to 145 mm high. With its dimensions of 480 × 692 × 178 mm (W × D × H), the housing corresponds to the standardized 4U rack format and can be easily integrated into 19-inch server cabinets. The robust steel housing is designed for continuous 24/7 operation and weighs around 14.4 kg. The 4U-465M2 is aimed primarily at professional users who want to operate two compact servers in a common rack housing. In contrast to classic 4U cases for large ATX or E-ATX systems, the focus here is not on graphics cards or workstation hardware, but rather on high availability, efficient use of space and reliable continuous operation
