ASUS PRIME A520M-K ARGB: a micro-ATX motherboard designed for building computers based on AMD Ryzen processors with an AM4 socket. The AMD A520 chipset supports Ryzen 3000, 4000 G, 5000 and 5000 G series processors, making the board suitable for home, office and gaming computers. Two DDR4 slots enable the installation of up to 64 GB of memory operating in Dual Channel mode, with support for frequencies up to 5100 MHz after overclocking.
The M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot provides bandwidth up to 32 Gb/s and supports drives in 2242, 2260 and 2280 formats. Four SATA 6 Gb/s ports allow you to connect additional SSD and HDD drives. The reinforced PCIe 3.0 x16 SafeSlot Core slot is intended for mounting a graphics card, and an additional PCIe 3.0 x1 slot allows you to expand your computer with a network card, sound card or other device.
The board offers HDMI and DisplayPort connectors to support integrated graphics available in compatible AMD processors. The Realtek Gigabit Ethernet controller provides a stable wired connection, and the rear and internal USB connectors also include the ability to output a USB-C 5 Gb/s port to the front panel of the case.
Three addressable ARGB Gen 2 connectors allow you to connect LED strips, fans and other compatible devices. The ASUS Aura Sync system allows you to synchronize lighting effects, while Fan Xpert 2+ allows you to automatically or manually control the fans. The Q-LED Core feature helps recognize problems with the CPU, graphics card or boot device when starting the computer.
