ASUS TUF GAMING B850-PRO WIFI7 W NEO: high-performance white ATX motherboard built for AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series desktop processors using the AM5 socket. The AMD B850 chipset, robust 14+2+1 power design, DDR5 memory support, PCIe 5.0 connectivity and advanced cooling make it suitable for powerful gaming PCs, content creation systems and high-performance workstations.

The 14+2+1 power stage design uses premium 80A DrMOS stages to provide stable and efficient power delivery for demanding Ryzen processors. Enlarged VRM heatsinks, an eight-layer server-grade PCB and dedicated power and ground layers help maintain signal integrity and system stability during intensive workloads and extended gaming sessions.

Four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 256 GB of system memory in dual-channel mode. Depending on the installed Ryzen processor, the motherboard supports memory speeds of up to 9000+ MT/s through overclocking. AMD EXPO and ASUS AEMP profiles make it easier to optimize compatible high-performance memory modules. Both ECC and non-ECC unbuffered DDR5 memory are supported, depending on CPU capabilities.

The primary graphics slot supports PCI Express 5.0 with compatible Ryzen 9000 and 7000 Series processors, providing high bandwidth for current and next-generation graphics cards. ASUS SafeSlot reinforcement improves mechanical strength, while PCIe Slot Q-Release simplifies graphics card removal.

Three M.2 slots provide extensive high-speed NVMe storage options. The primary M.2 slot supports PCI Express 5.0 x4 with compatible processors, while the additional M.2 connectors support PCI Express 4.0 x4. Four SATA 6 Gb/s ports are also available for SATA SSDs and hard drives. M.2 Q-Release and Q-Latch mechanisms simplify SSD installation without requiring small screws.

Integrated 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet provides fast wired networking, while Realtek Wi-Fi 7 offers 2x2 wireless connectivity across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequency bands. Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio support is also integrated for wireless peripherals, headsets and other compatible devices.

The Realtek ALC1220P audio codec provides high-quality multi-channel sound and is combined with dedicated PCB audio layers, premium capacitors, audio shielding and DTS Audio Processing. This makes the board suitable for gaming headsets, desktop speakers and home entertainment setups without requiring a separate sound card.

The rear I/O provides extensive USB connectivity with four USB 10Gbps ports, including two USB-C and two USB-A connectors, four USB 5Gbps Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 ports. A front-panel USB-C header supports transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps, while additional internal headers provide connectivity for front USB ports, cooling controllers and other accessories.

DisplayPort and HDMI outputs allow the use of integrated graphics available on compatible Ryzen processors. The board also includes a Thunderbolt USB4 header for compatible expansion solutions, BIOS FlashBack, Clear CMOS, Q-LED diagnostics and ASUS Q-Antenna for easier system installation and maintenance.

ASUS AI Cooling II automatically optimizes fan operation based on system temperatures and workloads. AI Cache Boost can optimize CPU cache and memory pathways for supported Ryzen 9000 Series processors, while the integrated asynchronous clock generator provides additional flexibility for advanced CPU tuning.

Three Addressable Gen 2 RGB headers and ASUS Aura Sync support allow compatible lighting components to be synchronized across the system. The white and silver TUF GAMING design makes the motherboard particularly suitable for light-colored PC builds with matching cases, graphics cards and cooling components.
