GIGABYTE A520M DS3H WIFI6E: a Micro ATX motherboard designed to build an inexpensive and functional computer based on AMD Ryzen processors with an AM4 socket. The AMD A520 chipset supports Ryzen 3000, 4000 G, 5000 and 5000 G series processors, making the board suitable for both home and office computers, as well as universal multimedia and gaming sets.
Four DDR4 slots enable the installation of up to 128 GB of RAM in a dual-channel configuration. Modules clocked at up to 4733 MHz after overclocking, XMP profiles and ECC Unbuffered memory are supported, with the available parameters depending on the processor used and module configuration.
The M.2 Socket 3 connector supports NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSDs and M.2 SATA media in the 2280 format. Four SATA 6 Gb/s ports allow you to connect additional SSDs and HDD and create RAID 0, RAID 1 or RAID 10 arrays.
The built-in MediaTek module provides Wi-Fi 6E connectivity in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, support for channels up to 160 MHz wide and Bluetooth 5.3. The EZ-Plug WIFI system simplifies the connection of the included antenna. Wired network communication is provided by a Realtek Gigabit Ethernet controller.
The main PCI Express 3.0 x16 connector with Ultra Durable design is intended for mounting a graphics card. An additional PCI Express 3.0 x1 slot allows you to install an expansion card, such as a controller, sound card or additional network card.
When you use an AMD Ryzen processor with an integrated Radeon chip, you can use HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs. DisplayPort supports a resolution of up to 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz, while HDMI supports a resolution of up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. The availability of image features depends on the processor used.
The Smart Fan 6 system uses temperature sensors, hybrid fan headers and the Fan Stop function to help automatically adjust cooling to the computer load. The design also includes high-quality audio capacitors, sound section separation, digital power supply and sulfur-resistant resistors.
